In May of 2015 I spoke at a Soul Sister Circle event. We had a full-house and it was fabulous to share the live space with so many women. In the video below, (part one of my talk), I talk about my childhood and early teen years and explain what it was like being born between both worlds. I also share how I managed to move from dark to light, and how in doing so, I discovered my life's purpose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=764aDhg0aMA In part two of my talk, I explain how the chakras work...

Words by Angela Simson The Gratitude Project There has been a little bit of a theme in my life right now.  People (friends, family and clients) are all telling me EXACTLY what they require in life to be happy.  Listing it off, either as goals or aspirations.  Like a mental check list that needs to be completed before they can relax into life and really be happy. Things like: weight loss a wedding proposal from a lazy boyfriend that promotion at work And this is all well and good.  I love goals, I believe...

Recipe by Lola Berry The tree is up, the presents are (just about) wrapped and fairy lights illuminate houses all through my neighbourhood - The festive season is in full swing! One of the things I love most about Christmas is coming together with my nearest and dearest and creating magical memories over epic food! Extra points are awarded when that food is delicious and nutritious (although I'm a sucker for my Mum's Pavlova which is definitely more naughty than nice). If you're looking for healthy festive feast inspiration then we've got you covered with these delicious Gluten Free Fruit Mince...

I know that - like me – you have probably chosen to start your own business because you desired more freedom and to make a difference in the lives of others. I feel you sister. And I see you too. This path of being our own boss lady is freeing and meaningful, but it also comes with mixed messages about what it takes to be truly successful too. There’s a surge of inspired leaders who are recognising we need a new world order. We need community, collaboration, connection. We need each one of us to be fulfilled and inspired. Our very survival depends on it. So you have this feeling inside too. A tender, trepidatious sensation. A calling. This yearning to follow those electric prompts of the heart. Perhaps you are right on the precipice of leaping into following your callings. Or perhaps you’re not sure exactly what it is you want to do. Deciphering your callings usually start with the questions: Where do your thoughts wander when you’re daydreaming? What fascinates you? Where are the sparks of inspiration flying? But no matter where you are on the callings spectrum - to really be of service, you also need to ask:

Where is the love coming from?

By Meg O'Sullivan Life can seem pretty damn monotonous sometimes. If you are working the 9 till 5, following the same routine everyday it's not uncommon for your existence to seem, well,... like an endless drudgery. Annual holidays abroad may help you to escape this sense of captivity. And although we all like to think we'd love to scrap our schedule and live life in the flow, as human beings we crave certainty. So quitting your money-makin' day job and proclaiming a life of freedom and adventure isn't always what it's cracked up to be. So the question on every 9 till 5er's lips...
